Modern Russian and Polish cinemas are closely related and actively create joint projects. Sputnik Russian Film Festival proves this. The event is held in Warsaw on November 8-18. The Poles took part in almost every picture in the festival billboard: they played roles, worked as cameramen etc. They will meet with compatriots at Warsaw and discuss modern Russian cinema in Polish.

The 12th festival will award the Grand Prix. The jury will consist of cultural upper crust of Poland, ProfiCinema reports. The festival will show films that have already participated in international film forums and went to the Russian film distribution. There is the Kinotavr winner Heart of the World by Natalia Meshchaninova; Dovlatov by Alexei German Jr.; The History of a single appointment by Avdotya Smirnova, Anna's War by Alexey Fedorchenko, Aika by Sergey Dvortsevogo, Jumpman by Ivan Tverdovsky; Elephants can play football by Mikhail Segal etc. In most pictures, the action takes place at present and explores the lifestyle, problems, needs and desires of a modern person.

Russkiy Mir reported that within the framework of the documentary film posters, viewers would see films about the Russian countryside, the Russian traditions, reserves and hot spots.
