“Wealthy tourists don’t usually travel to Siberia because of it’s gloomy past and reputation. However, for the past few years Siberia becomes more popular to visit, thanks to Russian President Vladimir Putin,” Jim Dobson said in Forbes.

According to the journalist, travel photos that President took in Siberia benefited the region a lot, because tourists all over the world strive to see those places.

These photos of Vladimir Putin appear in popular calendars on a regular basis in different countries, such as Japan, where the President has a lot of fans. “2019 calendar Around the World with Vladimir Putin reflects his passion for travels and adventures, such as swimming in the icy river, hockey or fishing in Siberia. These photos depict 66-year old leader as a strong and fit Russian man with a kind heart,” Dobson said in his article.

He also gives advices to wealthy tourists on how exactly they should travel in Russia. His choice is Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express, which is “a luxury private train with bathrooms, warm floors and free mini-bars. This train goes through 7 time zones and the distance of 9289 kilometers with the stops in the most beautiful places”. His favorite route is the 11-day trip from Moscow to Mongolia with Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude along the way. The tourists can see the Ural mountains and Lake Baikal and visit the village of Old Believers. This whole trip is worth about 12 000 USD.
