Chinese students help to restore the church near Moscow

Chinese students decided to help restoring the Trinity Church situated in Yakhroma town in Dmitrovsky District of Moscow Oblast, Interfax reports. The young people study in various Russian colleges and universities. They arrived to Yakhroma in the frames of  the Firebird project on July, 4 and will stay until July 16.

Chinese language liturgy is planned to conduct in the church on July, 13.

Firebird Russian-Chinese Cultural Center is open at the Chinese Patriarchal Representation which produces several Russian Cultural programs. In particular, all comers can participate in Russian-Chinese speaking club, in volunteer projects, listen lectures on Russian culture and history, going on tours in big cities, Moscow region and Golden Ring. This year Russian and foreign participants can choose from on 5 volunteer trips to help restore Russian historical monuments. This trips will help students to become friends and understand the Russian culture better.
