Russian Culture Festival kicks off in Mexico

The festival of Russian culture starts on Friday, December 6, in the Mexican capital, according to the website of the Moscow House of compatriot. The organizer is the Association of Russian Compatriots in Mexico SORUMEX.

The festival program includes plays in Russian and Spanish. They will be supplemented by performances by creative groups of compatriots, the Arco and Lyra musical ensemble will take the stage.

Opera arias, rock compositions and choreographic numbers will be performed during the festival. The program also includes chess competitions, contests, a crafts fair, tasting of dishes of traditional Russian cuisine, and much more.

A meeting dedicated to the possibilities of obtaining education in Russian higher educational institutions is timed to the festival.

Recall that Tchaikovsky - the Soul of Russia Festival ended in Mexico City a few days ago with great success. It was organized by the Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Russian House in Mexico with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo.
