Costa Rica's first Russian folk choir marks its fifth anniversary

To mark the fifth anniversary of Costa Rica's first Russian folk choir, a concert took place in San Jose. The performance showcased folk songs representing various cultural regions of Russia, according to the Russian Embassy's telegram channel in Costa Rica.

The concert drew a full house, with attendees including Russian diplomats, compatriots, graduates of Soviet and Russian universities, and local residents passionate about Russian culture.

The head of the Russian diplomatic mission Yuri Bejanyan highlighted the role of promoting Russian culture in Costa Rica, emphasizing its contribution to the mutual enrichment of both countries.

The first Russian folk choir in Costa Rica serves as a unifying platform for Russian compatriots and local enthusiasts of Russian music, actively organizing concerts and Russian festivals.
