The calendar of joint events was outlined by the participants in the meeting of the leaders of the Union of Spanish Cossacks and the Hungarian Union for the Preservation of Hussar and Military Traditions. In particular, the Spanish Cossacks were offered to take part in events dedicated to the memorable dates of Russian-Hungarian relations, according to the website of the Union of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Spain and Andorra.

The meeting was attended by the ataman of the Union of Cossacks of Spain, the head of the Spanish Association of Volga Cossacks Alexander Vasilenko, the head of the Hungarian Union Tibor Szekeyem and other representatives of organizations.

The participants exchanged experience in holding mass events and actions, as well as a vision of goals, including in the field of patriotic education of youth. The directions for interaction were outlined, which would be of interest to both parties.

One of these areas could be joint participation in celebrations related to the history of the Russian Tokay Commission, established by Peter the Great in Hungary. In December, Cossacks from all over Europe will gather in Tokaj for the action in honor of the Russian commission, within the framework of which the first hussar regiments appeared in Hungary in the 18th century.
