The architecture of St. Petersburg and the beauty of the ancient cities of the Golden Ring amazed Morgan Lynch, a teacher of Russian from the United States, on a trip to Russia. He told about this in an interview with his former teacher of the Russian language Maria Petrova, NewInform reports.

Morgan Lynch admitted that a trip to Russia made him love the country. The American said that he was struck by St. Petersburg, Vladivostok and ancient Russian cities, as well as Russian nature.

But most of all he remembered his meetings with people, about communication with Russians, Morgan said: "It's better than seeing Baikal." According to the American, a trip to Russia taught him that when traveling, you must first of all pay attention to the people around you.

The trip allowed Morgan to be convinced of the falsity of the stereotypes that have developed about Russia in Western countries. For example, he learned that Russians are not cold people at all. The stereotype about the total addiction of the country's inhabitants to alcohol was not confirmed. But the American learned that Russians are very fond of tea.
