Racers from Russia, Belarus and Turkmenistan won awards of Silk Way Rally

The Silk Way International Rally ended in Moscow, the rally website reports. The solemn finish took place on Red Square in the presence of thousands of fans. The main awards and prizes were won by teams from Russia, Belarus and Turkmenistan.

The victory in the overall standings was won by the crew of Andrei Rudskoy and Dmitry Karpov from the NG-Energo team in a Russian-made car. Among trucks, the Belarusian team MAZ-SPORTavto won. Most of the victories and prizes in other categories went to Russian racers, a number of awards were won by participants from Turkmenistan and Belarus.

The riders traveled over 5,000 kilometers in nine days, the route passed through 13 Russian regions. The Silk Road was held for the 13th time, bringing together 67 teams from Russia, China and the CIS countries. Trucks, SUVs, ATVs, motorcycles and ATVs started the race in Kazan.
