Russian Language Days have started in India, MAPRYAL reports. They are conducted by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, commissioned by Rossotrudnichestvo.

The events are planned in New Delhi and Chennai, RFL teachers, university and school students studying the language were invited to participate.

Leading specialists of the Russian university will conduct classes at the representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo, as well as at the sites of the University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Blue Bells School and the University of Madras.

It is planned to discuss innovative forms and methods of teaching the Russian language, issues of translation studies, as well as the current state of Russian culture and literature.
