Russians in NY prepared gifts for veterans on the eve of Victory Day

Public organizations of Russian compatriots, Russian-speaking entrepreneurs and other caring representatives of the Russian community in the United States joined the action to collect gifts for World War II veterans living in New York. The action is timed to the Victory Day, according to the Russian Youth of America society ​​on Facebook.

A charity event to help veterans takes place in New York every year. According to the representative of the society Marina Ivannikova, many Russian compatriots before each Victory Day participate in the preparation of gifts for the front-line soldiers. In addition to the Russian Youth of America society, the Orthodox Youth of New York and other organizations, companies and individuals joined the action.

Ivannikova told that many participants of the Great Patriotic War live in New York, and it is vital to pay attention to them, congratulate them on the holidays.
