Processions, festivals and motorcycle races to mark Victory Day in Australia

Flower-laying ceremonies, processions, concerts, festivals, motorcycle races, holiday picnics, marathons, contests and other events will be held in Australian cities as part of the celebration of the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In Sydney, on Victory Day, a march of the Immortal Regiment action and a rally at the monument to the fallen soldiers are planned, as well as a festival with the participation of Russian-speaking artists and creative groups. The event will also include a history quiz and an exhibition. Russian compatriots and representatives of other diasporas, local residents are invited to the holiday.

The Immortal Regiment action will be held in full-time format in Melbourne, a motorcycle race of the Night Wolves club is planned, to which everyone can join. The runners will lay flowers at the memorials.

Festive concerts and evenings will take place on Victory Day in Adelaide and the Gold Coast, the program will include performances by artists and creative teams formed by Russian compatriots.
