Countries that impose anti-Russian sanctions and inflate Russophobia have excluded themselves from the list of top tourist destinations for Russian citizens. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, this was also beneficial for internal tourism, TASS reports. He said this during a meeting on the development of the tourism sector. It took place the day before, on June, 28, in Derbent.

Unfriendly countries are losing their income, their reputation is deteriorating and the trust of partners is decreasing, Vladimir Putin explained.

The President is sure that Russia has everything necessary for the rapid development of tourism industry: unlimited historical, cultural, natural, recreational potential. In terms of the diversity of natural and climatic conditions, Russia may not have any competitors in the world at all, Vladimir Putin specified.
