Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed the gratitude to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for Egypt's assistance in organizing the evacuation of Russians from the Gaza Strip. The heads of state spoke by phone on the eve of November 14, TASS reported.

It was noted that the increase in the number of casualties among civilians in the enclave is of serious concern. The deaths of children and women are especially alarming. The Russian and Egyptian presidents discussed the situation in the conflict zone between Israel and Palestine. In their opinion, the escalation continues to grow.

Moscow and Cairo reiterated their support for the only viable solution to the conflict, a sovereign Palestinian state based on international law, coexisting peacefully and securely with Israel.

Another forty people, Russians and their families, left the Gaza Strip, making it the third group of evacuated compatriots. The second group is heading to Moscow. Those evacuated are currently housed in a temporary center near Moscow, receiving comprehensive support, including medical and psychological assistance, while legal matters are being addressed for nearly 50 individuals, including 17 children.
