Russian and Cuban cosmonauts meet in Havana

For the first time, Russian cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov met with his Cuban colleague Arnaldo Tamayo Mendez and local teenagers at the Havana Planetarium.The gathering coincided with the premiere of the Russia's Space Saga documentary, Russkiy Dom informs.
The film chronicles every stage of the Russian space exploration journey.

Anton Shkaplerov congratulated high school students on winning the Russian International Online Astronomy Olympiad. Cuba is participating in such competition for the first time. The cosmonaut personally handed out commemorative gifts to the young participants.

The schoolchildren have ask the cosmonauts all the their burning questions.

The project was realized with the support of the Russian House in Havana and the Russian Embassy in Cuba.
