Tula pryanik is the most popular type of Russian honey cakes originaly invented in the city of Tula. First record about it was made in the cadasters of 1685. Tula honey cookie remains one of the Russian cultural symbols. Tourists have great pleasure buying this substantial and very delicious souvenir.

Official supplier of pryaniks is Yasnaya Polyana factory. Tula Region Governor Alexey Dyumin expressed his satisfaction that one of the most well-known Russian regional trademarks will be presented at the Aeroflot flights. He has also noted that such kind of cooperation is very beneficial for the regional economy and, which is even more important, will help preserving ancient traditions and letting the whole world know about Tula pryanik. General director of Aeroflot Vitaly Saveliev, in his turn, expressed his gratitude to Tula citizens and remarked that including Tula pryanik into the board menu is not accidental, but a wish of their passengers.
