46,000 people came to Russia under the program of resettlement

Thanks to the promotion program of voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Russian Federation almost 50 thousand people moved to Russia since the beginning of this year. Most part of them have left from Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Armenia, TASS reports.

Furthermore, inhabitants of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Moldova, and Azerbaijan are also coming to live in Russian Federation.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, thanks to the program of voluntary resettlement 146 thousand people have moved to Russia last year. 40% of them have preferred the Central Federal District of Russia. Others have chosen Siberia (15%), Volga (14%) region and Urals (12%).

As we mentioned earlier, some compatriots from Western countries are also moving back to Russia.
