Aeroflot is among world's largest air companies in the world

Flickr/ERIC SALARDAeroflot has been named one of the world’s 20 largest airlines in terms of passenger traffic by Air Business Ranking, RIA Novosti reports. According to last year’s research, Aeroflot ranks 18th for the passenger traffic and 20th for the passenger turnover capacity.

Air Business experts state that Aeroflot has recovered its high positions after geopolitical crisis. The issue also states that a total passenger capacity has expanded by 6% in the course of last year.

Russia’s flagship carrier was founded in 1923. As of today Aerofolt is a leading company in Russia. It was granted four stars by Skytrax consulting company last year.
