St. Petersburg receives two touristic Oscars

RossotrudnichestvoSt. Petersburg received two prestigious World Travel Awards at its final stage that was held in Vietnam, TASS announces. Europe's Leading City Destination and Europe's Leading Cultural City Destination awards were presented to Russia's Northern capital.

Russia’s second largest city was competing with New York, Sydney, as well as French, British and Chinese capitals.

Apart of that St. Petersburg entered a short-list of the Best Business Tourism Capital, and the local Development of Tourism Committee was nominated for the Best Tourism Management.

The Award ceremony took place in Phú Quốc, Vietnam. St. Petersburg city administration has named this victory as deserved and predicted.

Let us remember, two months ago St. Petersburg was choosen to host World Travel Awards’ Europe Gala Ceremony 2017. Tourism experts from all around the world could not stay indifferent after they have saw the city with their own eyes, local administration has shared.
