Russia to help Qatar prepare for FIFA World Cup – 2022

Russia is helping Qatar to organize the next FIFA World Cup, TASS reports. The next championship is to take place in Qatar in 4 years. According to the Russian Ambassador to Qatar Nurmahmad Kholov, the work in this direction has been started and is going on very intensively. 

Contacts between the Organizing Committee of the tournament, the Russian Football Union and Federal Sports Department continue for a year.
The Russian police counteracts with the Qatar colleagues on organizing mass activities and providing safety.

Russian diplomat is sure that soon the work will develop further on to become more shaped and concentrated.

Note that during the FIFA World Cup – 2018, there was an official ceremony when Russian President Vladimir Putin passed the ball to Qatar together with the right to conduct the FIFA World Cup-2022.
