Russian Film Festival starts in Seoul

War and Peace, Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears and Ivan the Terrible features are included in the program of the Russian Film Festival, which is be held in Seoul from April 17 to May 5. Russian features released in 2018 to be on screen. The festival was organized by the Hankuk Institute of Foreign Languages, the Korean-Russian Dialogue organization and the Seoul Art Cinema, the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots' Organizations in the Republic of Korea reports on its website. 

The festival program is complied in such a way that it covers the most diverse spectator categories. It includes films that are widely known around the world and make up the pride of the national cinema. For example, viewers will see Sergey Bondarchuk’s War and Peace, Sergei Eisenstein’s masterpiece Ivan the Terrible, Vladimir Menshov’s drama Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears and one of Alexey German’s latest films Khrustalev, car!

The new Russian cinema will be presented by Ivan Tverdovsky's fantastic drama Zoology, The Man Who Surprised Everyone feature directed by Natalia Merkulova and Alexei Chupov and other pictures that participated in international film festivals. Films will be shown in Russian with English subtitles.
