Theaters from St. Petersburg, Switzerland and France received the Grand Prix of the ninth International Week of Russian-language Theater, which was held in Paris. The program included performances of theaters from nine countries in Europe and the Middle East. Performances, workshops and creative laboratories were held at four different sites, Russkiy Ochevidets reports.

The program of the theater week includes productions of Russian-language theaters from Russia, France, Switzerland, Qatar, Spain, Germany, Israel, Holland and Moldova. Russky Mir reported that young actors brought productions based on the tales of Nikolay Nosov, Leonid Filatov and foreign classics to Paris.

The performances gathered hundreds of young and adult spectators. The best performances of the festival were selected by the jury, which included representatives from different countries. The youth theater From the Rose Street from Moldova was awarded a special prize for its contribution to the preservation of Russian culture.

The festival was organized by the Russian theater Aprelik from Paris with the support of the Russian Embassy in France, as well as the Russian Orthodox Cultural and Spiritual Center and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris.
