All tourists who encountered difficulties when returning to Russia managed to get back home, RIA Novosti reports. According to Zarina Doguzova, who heads the Federal Tourism Agency, this work was carried out by Russian tour operators. In total, 100,000 people returned home.

Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, noted that the country's authorities promised to support companies that take Russians home. Ten billion rubles were allocated for this.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, more than 20 billion rubles has already been allocated from the federal budget to support the tourism industry and citizens.

Most Russians remained in Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the Dominican Republic. There were also many tourists in Vietnam and Thailand.
