My Russia Festival held in Lebanon

The My Russia festival was held in the Russian-Lebanese Friendship Park in Ainab, Lebanon, with the support of the Russian Embassy, the Russian House in Beirut, the Moscow Government and local authorities. Over 200 guests saw a concert and other events, including fireworks in honor of Russia Day, the telegram channel of the Russian House in Beirut reports.

The festival in the park of the Lebanese city was held by the Association of Alumni of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) in Lebanon. Welcoming the participants of the holiday, Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov thanked the graduates of Russian and Soviet universities for their work in promoting cultural and educational projects in Lebanon.

The festival brought together over 200 guests, including mayors of a number of Lebanese cities, local politicians and public figures, graduates of Russian and Soviet universities, as well as Russian compatriots living in Lebanon.

Within the framework of the festival, a concert of the famous folk group Lyubo-Milo from Moscow took place, the audience warmly received Russian performers. 

The festival ended with a festive salute of fifty volleys to commemorate Russia Day.
