Open Education Center to open in Thailand

Classes at the Center for Open Education in Russian will begin in Thailand, TASS reports. They will start on August, 28 in Phuket and will be held at the campus of Prince of Songkhla University. The center is organized by the Shukshin Altai State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University.

The university noted that they plan to start work with short-term courses. In this way, it will be possible to acquaint Thai students with the prepared program. Then local teachers and students will begin to study at the center, in the future they will lead the educational process. 

The students are going to study both oral and written language. In addition, the course will focus on the use of the Russian language in the tourism sector.

80 people have registered so far. These are not only students, but also specialists who work with tourists from Russia. 

Lectures on Russian culture will be organized for the audience, as well as talks about the relations between the two countries. Russian teachers will also talk about psychology and the mechanism of learning foreign languages.
