Open Education Center in Russian started work in Serbia

The Center for Open Education in Russian began to work in Novi Sad, Serbia TASS reports. The ceremony took place on Thursday, September, 7. The center will operate at the Jovan Jovanovich Zmai gymnasium, it was opened by the Tula State Pedagogical University with the assistance of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

According to the Russian Ambassador Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, in Serbia the study of the Russian language is becoming more and more in demand. The diplomat called the opening of the center a big step forward and is sure that now a new phase is beginning in the field of studying the Russian language in Serbia.

The center will give everyone the opportunity to study Russian. An important part of its work will be the acquaintance of listeners with the riches of Russian culture.

In early summer, the Russian university opened a Center for Open Education in Russian in the Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina . The Center operates at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Eastern Sarajevo.
