Almost 40 countries have begun preparing for the World Youth Festival at the state level, TASS reports.

National preparatory committees are already operating in 38 states. According to the deputy general director of the festival, Larisa Sulima, the organizers received applications for participation from 180 countries. Young people are interested in Russia, they want to come here, they want to establish friendly relations with Russia, she added. And this is clear proof that all attempts to abolish Russia will never succeed.

Among the participants in the festival program will be young people under the age of 35. It is they who today are distinguished by modern thinking and understanding of how important a multipolar world is.

The festival starts on March 1, its guests and participants will gather in the Sirius center in Sochi. It will become a platform where young people from different countries can establish connections. The regional program will take place from March, 10 to March, 17, participants will visit 30 Russian cities.

Russia has hosted the Youth Festival three times already, but the organizers have no doubt that next year it will be even more interesting and brighter.
