Nearly 310 thousand applications arrived from individuals aspiring to partake in the World Youth Festival (WYF), TASS reported. Ksenia Razuvaeva, the head of Rosmolodezh, mentioned that the application window remained open until early December, with candidate registration commencing on June 24, the Youth Day. These applications hail from 188 countries.

Mrs. Razuvaeva labeled this outreach as colossal, highlighting that, regardless of their location or pursuits, young people are keen on establishing connections and engaging in dialogue. She firmly believes that the youth are eager to unite to build a common future and create a just multipolar world.

Applications came from all corners of the world, and from all Russian regions.

As Russkiy Mir reported, at least 20,000 people are expected to participate in the festival next year. The festival will kick off in Sochi at the Sirius Center, on March 1.

Foreign participants of the WFF are invited to the regional program. From March 10 to 17, 2,000 foreigners will visit Russian cities to learn more about the country.
