Russian language courses to be organized for residents of Argentina who are going to take part in the World Youth Festival, TASS reports.

The head of the Russian House in Buenos Aires Olga Muratova, promised that the classes will start at the beginning of the next year. Young participants will learn basic language useful when traveling to Russia. The course will be free of charge.

Lucas Adrian Garcia, leading the national preparatory committee, shared that they've received nearly 200 applications. Organizers are also holding meetings with students and young athletes to encourage maximum participation, aiming to fill Argentina's quota of 110 people. Mr Garcia highlighted plans to involve all provinces, catering to diverse interests across Argentine society.

Russia anticipates a turnout of at least 20,000 participants at the World Youth Festival (WYF) next year in Sochi. Representatives from over one hundred and eighty countries will converge in the city for the youth forum, scheduled to be launched on March 1. This venue is poised to serve as a platform for fostering connections among young international students.
