Russian language learning centers to open in 16 countries

31 Russian language learning centers to be launched in 16 countries by the end of the year by Rossotrudnichestvo, SNG.TODAY reports.

These centers, equipped with modern amenities, will provide opportunities to study the language and explore Russian culture across the globe. Such regions as the near abroad, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Each center will feature comfortable study spaces, large LCD TVs, electric pianos, and a library with around 1,500 books.

Rossotrudnichestvo project aims to facilitate RSL learning to all foreigners. The centers will serve as venues for meetings, conferences, round tables. The inaugural center is already operational in Kyrgyzstan at the The Chuy regional library in Kant, a town of 23,000 about 23 kilometres west of the capital Bishkek. I was renovated with support from the Russkiy Mir Foundation. 

Subsequent centers to be established at Naryn and Talas State Universities. These centers cater not only to students but also to anyone with an interest in Russia, Russian language, and culture.
