Fedor Konyukhov to conquer Mount Elbrus

Famous Russian traveler Fedor Konyukhov is going to make new world-record attempt. He wants to cross Mount Elbrus with hot-air balloon. If he succeeds he will be the first person to conquer the highest mountain in Eurasia. Its height exceeds 5,600 meters above sea level.

Let us remind you, that Konyukhov has broken the air-balloon flight duration world record completing his 33,000-kilometer (20,506-mile) journey in just over 11 days.

Fedor Konyukhov does not intend to stop there. Besides Elbrus he plans to conquer the Mariana Trench in the nearest future.
