Around two hundred Russians to take part at World Police and Fire Games

Russia is represented by more than two hundred police officers at the World Police and Fire Games, begun in Los Angeles, according to TASS. The officers of law enforcement agencies from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tyumen and Rostov Regions are competing with their colleagues from sixty-seven countries in swimming, mini-football, shooting and other disciplines.

The competition schedule includes more than fifty sports’ disciplines. Teams will demonstrate their skills in free-style wrestling, karate, judo, target shooting with different types of weapons and archery.

Teams of Ministry of Internal Affairs and of Ministry of Civil Defense as well as teams of other ministries proved their professional skills during the last competitions also organized in US. They won more than two hundred awards: 124 golden medals, almost 50 silver medals and more than 30 bronze medals.
