No sanctions would help Washington compel Russia to change its external politics, according to Russian Foreign Ministry. Ministry is sure that new sanctions would not bear fruit, TASS informs.

US Government is enchained by their own illusions pretending to be a world gendarme, Russian Foreign Ministry comments. Every new attempt to exert pressure on our country proves helplessness of Washington one more time.

Besides, diplomats have noted that, as a rule, US declares escalation of sanctions before national holidays, such as the Victory Day, the Russia’s Day. They promised to remember this.

US need to focus on real threats and start fighting international terrorism, instead of turning Russia into an enemy.

“This is not simply faulty, but very dangerous politics too. The history will definitely hold its initiators accountable for it,” Foreign Ministry underlined.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov promised to retaliate. The restrictions will concern those sticking to aggressive anti-Russian position and impeding setting up the bilateral relations.

Diplomat cleared out that if earlier Washington tried to explain its sanctions, throwing ungrounded claims towards Russia, now other grounds were announced. Thus, US is trying to restrain Russia by all possible means.

New restrictions are introduced against Quantum scientific-research institute, Dive TechnoService company, Digital Security and Israeli companies Embedi and ERPScan governed by Digital Security. Three Russian nationals are on the black  list.
