The Joint Investigative Team (JIT), which is investigating a plane crash over the Donbass five years ago, “adjusts materials” for a decision made in advance, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said. In her opinion, some published materials turned out to be fake immediately after the publication, while information from the others was not confirmed, the website of the MFA reports.

The JIT stated earlier that Moscow had allegedly influenced the events related to the plane crash. Investigators announced that they were collecting information about those who gave orders, which led to the plane crash. They also said that they had published the conversations allegedly conducted by the leaders of the DPR and representatives of the Russian authorities and asked related questions.

Russia has always been ready to work to establish the truth in this matter, Zakharova noted. The investigation is finding "materials in social networks, endlessly posing them as evidence."

The airplane flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur by flight MH17 crashed near Donetsk five years ago, on July 17, 2014. All 298 people on board died. Russian experts initially offered help but were withdrawn from the investigation. Meanwhile, Moscow is ready to recognize the results of the investigation only if it takes a full part in it.
