Russian literature presented at an exhibition in Tehran

Russia is taking part in an international book exhibition in the capital of Iran, the telegram channel of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office reports. The exhibition opened in Tehran on Wednesday, May, 10. More than 600 books are presented at the stand prepared by the Russian Book Union.

As part of the exhibition, meetings with modern Russian authors are sxheduled to take place. Famous writers Yevgeny Vodolazkin, Pavel Basinsky, Alexander Kulanov, Pavel Besedin and others came to Iran.

A versatile program dedicated to the Russian language is also planned. The events will be held not only at the exhibition site, but also in higher educational institutions of the Iranian capital, where the Russian language is studied.

At the end of the exhibition, some of the Russian books will be donated to the Russian House operating in Iran.
