The Festival of Russian culture took place in Orne, France, TASS reports. The program included a performance for children, a concert and art master classes. Russian compatriots living in Switzerland and France took the stage.

The festival was organized and hosted by the Olympus Suisse and Romano Art associations. It also became a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing plans for the future. According to the organizers, the holiday turned into a showcase of the creativity of the Russian-speaking diaspora. Among the participants were amateur dance groups from Geneva and Lausanne and solo performers.

Olga Skvortsova, who heads the Romano Art group, is sure that such cultural events are of great importance, as they help preserve Russian culture and introduce young compatriots to it. ''It is important that during such events children absorb the spiritual values of our culture and get acquainted with the principles of life that have been formed over the centuries,'' she noted.
