Mumbai citizens will learn more about St Petersburg tourist potential

pixabay.comThe Northern capital of Russia has opened a new tourist informational office, IA Interfax advises. Visit Petersburg has opened office in Mumbai on the premises of Rossotrudnichestvo.

Now all citizens of this metropolis wishing to visit Saint Petersburg are welcome to learn about its sights and peculiarities, to choose an attractive tourist direction for themselves - either educational, sports or gastronomic tourism. They will get answers to the most frequent questions of the travelers.

Tourists from India have lately been very keen on Russian destinations. The demand for tours to our country, and to St. Petersburg in particular, is constantly growing. Over the first six months of 2017 more than twelve and a half thousand guests from India visited Saint Petersburg. This number is 25 percent bigger than it was in 2016.

The city authorities plan to open at least ten tourist centers in Saint Petersburg. The first office was opened in the capital city of China. Visit Petersburg was opened in Paris. This project is a state-private partnership. It is not budgeted by the state.
