The Best Russian School Abroad contest is open for applications

Call for applications for participation in The Best Russian School Abroad contest has started, the website of the Ministry of Education reports. The geography of the competition covers the countries of Central Asia - Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. It is held by the Interdom International Education Center n.a. Stasova.

According to the organizers, the main task is to support and encourage teachers and school stuff who promote the most exciting and effective Russian school practices in other countries.

The competition to be held online in two categories: "Best Russian School Abroad" and "International Teacher". The first aims at the school teams work, while the second one teachers are invited to send a lesson script dedicated to promoting Russian language and culture among schoolchildren.

Applications can be sent until November 5th. The name of the winner to be announced by December 16th. At the end of the competition, the best projects to be presented to the public.
