Flashmob on works of Russian classics launched in Spain

The Talk About Kindness: We Read Russian Classics flash mob started in Spain at the initiative of Russian compatriots, the website of the Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Spain and Andorra reported.

Young readers from all over the world can join the flash mob. They are invited to read the works of representatives of the great Russian literature and share their impressions onlie. According to the organizers, neither reviews nor opinions are required. The main thing is to describe feelings and understanding of a literary work.

The first work was Chekhov's Kashtanka - in honor of  author's 160th anniversary. The first part of the flash mob was attended by children studying the Russian language in Valencia, Alicante, Denia, and other cities in Spain. They were joined by children from Russia.

Children who are not bilingual, that is, those who understand Russian, but do not know how to express their thoughts and feelings like native speakers, can also participate in the project. They are invited to film themselves in Spanish, the main thing is to convey the feelings caused by the story.
