29 countries will take part in Total Dictation

The Total Dictation action will be held in 29 countries this year. The head of the Total Dictation Foundation Olga Rebkovets shared this news on her Facebook page, the Year of Literature website reports.

On February 1, everyone can vote for the capital of the action, which will be held on April 4. St. Petersburg, Kazan, Tambov, Vologda and Nukus compete for this honorable role. An international conference dedicated to the action and the first meeting of the author club of the Total Dictation are held in Moscow ahead of the action.

The issues of teaching the Russian language, teaching RSL and the introduction of modern techniques in language education are discussed by the participants of the international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the Total Dictation. 

The innovation of this year is the the author club of the Total Dictation. Since the beginning of the action, its texts are written by Russian writers, many famous authors have already taken part in it. The meeting will be attended by Andrey Gelasimov, Pavel Basinsky, Guzel Yakhina, Leonid Yuzefovich.
